Fires de Sant Narcís

The Fires de Sant Narcìs are here. Girona is a city transformed during the festivities! What causes this is the celebration of the city's patron saint Sant Narcís. This is done in so many different ways.

How many activities can you think of that take place during these ten days? Have a look and see if you have got all of these

There is  a wide selection of different activities to take part in and enjoy with your family and friends. How will we go about describing them?  The challenge is finding the right vocabulary to explain the vast array of activities  that are organized.

Translating cultural aspects and traditions can be tricky if dealing with unique activities. The "correfoc", "cercavila" (parade)  or "pregó" (opening ceremony) can provide a challenge.
